For more than 40 years and on behalf of America’s egg farmers, the American Egg Board has presented the First Lady’s Commemorative Egg. It is an honor and great tradition that is crafted uniquely each year/
For the 2025 Commemorative Egg, I had the honor to help with the Art Direction and Illustration design for the Artist, Carolyn Bickel to hand-paint.
The painting depicts a young girl dreaming of everything she can be when she grows up, the sky’s the limit. It is bright, imaginative, and symbolizes the pursuit of knowledge. Originally the design was depicted with all of the careers, children, and dreams to be on a singular egg. During production it had to be adjusted to a canvas of multiple eggs laid across.
